12-10-23 Amqui, TN. After a deadly string of tornadoes ripped though Middle TN the night before, also striking CSX train B206-04 with the CP 6644 in the lead. We see the aftermath from the drone and the ground as trees, powerline, and debris lay everywhere. #railfanning #tornadodamage #tennessee
CPKC’s Holiday Trains Extravaganza
Просмотров 2,2 тыс.6 месяцев назад
On November 28th and 29th both of the CPKC Holiday Trains were running to Shreveport. Follow along as we chase the KCS F-Units from Vicksburg to Monroe, and the CP train from Heavener to Texarkana. Then on the 30th, I make some catches in the rain on the way home. #railfanning #cpkc #holidaytrain #funits

11-18-23. CSX M524 is heading North to Nashville with the C&O heritage unit. We start the chase in Carey, AL. and follow all the way to Nashville. Not more than 30 mins after arriving, 3174, Honoring Law Enforcement leaves Nashville heading south. The chase is on again! Sit back and enjoy a day of special painted locos running North and South. #csx #railfanning #heritageunit
CSX DPU Day
Просмотров 718 месяцев назад
Getting word that CSX #3194, Honoring Law Enforcement, was heading South out of Nashville, I made my way trackside. Then M647-07 had DPU problems and stopped at Chapel Hill. Also the Seaboard heritage unit is also making its way North mid DPU. So sit back and enjoy an afternoon on the S&NA North Sub. catching trains, listening to problem solving, and a heritage unit to boot. #csx #honoringlawen...

Tennessee Southern Pulaski Line Chase

9-1-16 TSRR Pulaski Line. On the start of a rather hot September day, Tennessee Southern train 105 is already underway to Pulaski to do some switching. So join in on this jointed rail chase of some old EMD power. #railfanning #emd #tennessee
NS Blue Mane Chase
Просмотров 116Год назад
3-12-23 Indiana. Making my way back from Indianapolis I tried to see if anything was operating on Indiana Railroad, caught a coal train at the mine but they pulled up and tied down. Heading farther South towards Princeton, A CSX coal was preparing to load at a loadout when and NS train popped up with a Blue Mane 2nd out. The chase was on, and they were bound for the Indiana Southern interchange...
Indianapolis Area Railfanning

3-11-23 Indianapolis, IN. While being in town for the Santa Fe Modelers Mini Meet, I took some time after to go and see what was going on around town. CSX was quite slow, but the big catch was Indiana Railroad anyway.

I made an Amtrak video using Stock Adobe Music Loops
Do they still have these?
Yes. And I believe they got a few more ACe’s
I didnt really hear it that good.. did it say it had a dragging equipment defect?
Yes, but that was just a test defect. Maintainer was just checking to make sure it worked.
This line gets 5 mainline trains a day: M531, M532, M533, M536, I125 & I126. That’s not counting locals L449 & L448 and extras from time to time. It also gets KWT as shown in the video and WTNN traffic in Milan & Humboldt.
Wasn’t there 2 more intermodals now that the UP transfers were added? And it’s definitely not what it used to be. But I’ve been trying to get out and document the Memphis line more.
Probably the manifest was a M575.
Honestly I couldn’t hear him calling the signals. So it’s a best guesstimate.
Very nice RS5T. I was on a campout when 3194 went by, I remember hearing its horn in the distance.
Older style horns just have the iconic sound. Especially at night and from a distance
I miss the glory days of the YN2 scheme! It's still my favorite out of all of them!
It is to me too. I just miss the variety it used to be. You never knew what was coming. All shapes and colors
I'm one of the very few who's favorite was stealth grey and blue
There was definitely some interesting stealth options!
@@beautifulkiller6012 I liked it, too. The early versions of it were nice, but the later versions ("Grey Ghost") with the italicized numbers were ugly.
Hey there! Heading to Indianapolis soon any addresses where trains come a lot it would be really helpful as ive never been there, thanks!
Actually that was my first time being there too. Definitely check out the map and go check out some spots. The Indiana Railroad is one where you gotta catch and chase not tons of trains running.
@@RollingRailProductions oh okay thanks
I want a model of that GP30 with Mr. Peanut. This reminds me of the Illini Terminal Railroad. Same paintjob as the Illinois Terminal.
I’ve got shots of the Illini Terminal geep after they got it fresh from the paint booth. And I believe the Mr. Peanut put up there was a joke but he just kinda stayed around 🤣
Name my Railroad after that mess. Nope.
I like BN pre-merger
Pure BN is *chefs kiss* 😁
I can confidently say that's the first time a CP Veterans Unit has seen weather like that. Great drone footage and catches!
Honestly it’s just a good thing that it wasn’t any worse than it was. Granted it was bad. But it could have been way worse.
I'm sure John Ingram and Judge Frank McGarr are roasting in hell right now. The story was, that the wife of the filthy piece of $hit Ingram, liked that baby blue color, and was the one responsible for that embarrassment.
This reminds me of the Audubon Branch in the late 1970's, very cool to see "THE ROCK" in operation again!
It’s back and growing everyday!
What happened to 3 step protection?v
That is actually 3194!
Yes Sir
Nice catch!
The rail train was interesting, and unexpectedly long. And I wasn't expecting to see a GP15-1 for power. I had forgotten they inherited some from the Frisco takeover. Good video.
Thanks! Dad shot tons and tons. So I’m glad I could preserve and share it.
Amazing video of the holiday trains! I got to see both of them in late November early December something ill never forgot!
It’s definitely a sight to see. It’ll be interesting to see how they change for next year
Nice catch.👍 ( CSX)
Thanks!
Stumbled into a minor damage path while following the West TN RR north to Kenton this past Monday out near Rutherford, TN. Neat video, bud.
It got pretty bad all around. But luckily it wasn’t total damage
Excellent video of CSX freight lines.👋👋👋👋👋👋🎥👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🛤️🛤️
Glad you enjoyed!
Excellent view. Beautiful shot. 👍🎥⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Thanks!!
Very well done! What a powerful locomotive!
If only we could have seen what she was really meant for. The fast running!
That song that the train has is very similar to the one from the Grinch movie but the one from 2018
There’s a good chance it may be the song. Christmas songs tend to get used a lot. Especially Bing Crosby and others.
Well. I’ll say one thing. A 5 minute wait just to see her casually chuffing along was a waste of time but worth it when she got into the frame
Mainly the 5 min wait was to hear her climbing the grade. But that’s why they invented the fast forward button.
0:52 Notice the kid sitting in the conductors seat of 2127. He's got to be one of the luckiest kids out there.
They ran a caboose train not too long ago. The Rock enjoys their enthusiasts!
@@RollingRailProductions Yeah! Just wish there were more people posting videos recently on one of the most iconic shortlines in the world!
Long Live the Rock!
They’re back and better than ever!
Great video of the lights and sounds of the CPKC Holiday Train during the daytime!
Thank you! I was hoping for more nighttime shots but it just didn’t work out.
Very cool coverage on a sad event! I had no idea, this happened until I got home at night and saw Ryan Hall, Reed Timmer and, Brandon Copic had been live that day! (Dave).
It could have been a lot worse. It was bad. But not total destruction bad.
That horn on the Ex-BNSF's horn almost sounds like the same horn the RJ Corman switcher we have here on the SPEG/Erie Lackawanna in Northwest Ohio.
There is a good chance they might be the same. Them horns are pretty wide spread by now.
Ok....that ending...tooootally topped the whole video!!!
I thought it was a fitting end!
That was a really cool video, excellent work there! (Dave).
Many thanks!
@@RollingRailProductions you're welcome
Goddam Indianapolis looks depressing
🤣 Railroad wise, very, former shell of what it once was. Landscape wise, even more.
Nice job
Very cool, that was beautifully done our friend! Nice one! (Dave).
Excellent job with the drone shots!
Thanks!! Been doing some experiments!
That was so cool, thanks for sharing! have a Great weekend! (Dave).
Y’all have a good one too. Thanks!!
Your very welcome and thank you also.@@RollingRailProductions
Those wide cab former BNSF’s look goofy with four axle trucks.
It’s how they were delivered to SF and BNSF 🤣
@@RollingRailProductions I know, but still goofy.
At least it was different. Instead of everything looking the same nowadays.
@@RollingRailProductions true.
Beautiful layout gents. What are all the shelf brackets for? Second and third level?
Yes. The race to finish them is now starting
The lettering under that Red icon thing whatever you call it, it blends in with the surroundings too well, would you please make that louder like Red or Yellow please.
Entire video would have to be re-edited and uploaded. It’s a problem I didn’t notice till after
You can't stop Rock n roll it's here to stay!! ❤❤❤
This is some awesome footage! I think I've been to these spots before. I believe this was in Beverly, Missouri (close to East Leavenworth).
I’d have to do more digging but since this was dads footage I didn’t want to pester him like crazy about locations.
🤍🩵👍
The rock ;)
Do they have any sort of schedule now?
They are definitely running more frequently now that they have been hauling the windmill trains. I don’t have times or days. But there’s a much better chance of getting them running throughout the week now.
maaz❤❤❤❤❤
As a resident of Maury County, I enjoyed this railroad journey from Culleoka to Pulaski. Would like to see more from this area!
Thanks!! I’ve got more Tennessee Southern videos from around Columbia and Mt. Pleasant area. If you want a throwback to the 90s, check this one out Spirit of Tennessee 1996 ruclips.net/video/EKsDeYF7Igk/видео.html
Where was that filmed?
Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee
Thanks! But what road?
Old Zion Road.
Thanks. I know. I just want to be sure.
